People sometimes express their emotions through their behaviour rather than verbally. This project began by researching human behaviour related to the foot, and further, by observing how emotions can be conveyed through one’s walking. Based on these observations, a new footwear collection was created.
Three emotions —happiness, sadness, and anger— were translated through footwear, inspired by how people express emotions through their feet (walking). When people wear and walk in YeaLim’s footwear collection, the goal is to amplify and either relieve those emotions or transform them into new ones, enhancing the overall emotional experience.
