Avant-garde ankle boot in gathered leather and hand-shaped Shibori textile, hand-laced leather details and a leather-covered block heel.

Part of the ‘Fantasy Shoes” collection using Shibori inspired by the different shoes a woman dreams of at various stages of her life. It is a fantasy shaped by dreams and reality, yesterday and tomorrow, a moment where tradition and modernity intersect with the local and the universal.

Shibori is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique that creates two- and three-dimensional textured surfaces. Fiber art explores innovative relationships between traditional fiber materials, techniques and history, while engaging with other creative disciplines.
