Dotti: ‘I created these shoes around the idea that, as we grow older, we slowly lose the creativity, imagination, and authenticity that came so naturally to us as children. Somewhere between expectations, routines, and society’s rules, we stop creating simply because it’s fun. I wanted to challenge that.
I took something from the adult world (coffee) and reimagined it through a dreamcore lens, transforming an everyday ritual into something nostalgic, playful, and surreal. The goal was to bring a piece of childhood wonder back into adulthood, proving that the ordinary can still feel magical when viewed through imagination. Sometimes the best ideas come from letting yourself create the way you did as a kid without asking for permission first.
