Inez Carmen is fascinated by the different ways people have developed to change their bodies. These shoes are inspired by the traditional Chinese foot binding, a painful method that changes the size and shape of young girls’ feet in order to meet a beauty ideal. These shoes are a sharp contrast with this matter, the heels look like they are on the edge of imploding.
