Lagom is a Swedish concept meaning not too much and not too little. A word perfectly encompassing the message the myth of King Midas brings across. This story is translated in my collection in five states of being: obsession, reality, ecstatic, curse and enlightenment. A chemical component representing the feelings that come with these states of being was redesigned into all the shoes, colours were also very carefully chosen for this same reason. The heel height decreases as we progress through the story showing that you start with your head in the clouds but eventually do end up with your feet on the ground, realising that having too much can be a blessing in disguise.
