Yiqiao Li: ‘By combining metal and leather, I designed a movable metal heel that breaks the usual boring walking posture and creates a different way of moving. The idea is to help people become more aware of their own bodies while they walk. In our structured modern routines, walking often becomes a mindless journey from A to B. With this design, I hope people can enjoy movement again and feel more present in their everyday steps. Visually, it has a cold, mechanical look that reflects the tension between the body and contemporary city life.’
