Part of the spring/summer ‘Lucid Nightmare Collection’, designed in the universe of HENRIK VIBSKOV The collection is based on the phenomena lucid nightmares – bad dreams in which the dreamer is aware but loses the ability to wilfully contra/ events.
Visually and sensorially this state of mind is represented through illusion, distortion, moiré effect and tactile heels. lt’ i’s a play on the ambiguity between the conscious and the subconscious, a,nd the collection is intended to affect people’s senses and imagination. The circular sectors on the heel create a motion that follows the natural movement of walking and pushes the foot forward. The red dot directs the eye around the shoe to show the rectangular, striped back, which is a visual play on 2D vs. 3D.
