Roswitha van Rijn is a shoe designer and painter. Versatility is her trademark, sustainability her driving force, in everything she does the planet comes first.
Born and raised in Baarn, she has called Amsterdam home since the age of nineteen. She traveled extensively, lived off the grid for several years in a canyon in California and worked and studied in Italy.
Her studio in Tetterode, The Netherlands serves as the birthplace of all her projects: haute couture shoes and boots, paintings and drawings and ‘green’art installations addressing climate change, the food transition and plastic pollution.
