We hope to present lots of new shoes and designers in 2013. There will be other places this year this where you can find shoes from this collection: in the 365 Days of Shoes 2013 Wall Calendar by Workman Publishers and in the international shoe exhibition ‘Stepping into the Limelight! Experimental Shoe Design’ in the GRASSI Museum Leipzig, Germany.

The renowned GRASSI Museum will display around 100 fascinating and surprising objects from avant-garde, international shoe design in it’s exhibition ‘Stepping into the Limelight! Experimental Shoe Design’, 28 March – 29 September 2013.
An exhibition in cooperation with the Virtual Shoe Museum.

The museum will present surprising footwear creations from around the world: dangerously high stillettos, heels made of guns, Dutch clogs in breast shape, shark shaped pumps or wooden brushes useful sandals. The selection shows the influence of architecture in shoes, shoes with socio-critical potential, with historical references or shoes that are not obvious a shoe at first glance. The exhibition will complemented by photographs and videos of shoe performances.
