Swann Phelippeau, originally from Vannes a little French town near the coast in Brittany, graduated at Cordwainers, London College of Fashion 2022.
Phelippeau: ‘From the age of 14 to 19, my life was all about running and competing. Having obtained a full athletic scholarship to study fashion design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, I found my passion in footwear design. In 2018 I moved to London to join the world-renowned Cordwainers at London College of Fashion.
My creativity has always been influenced by French haute couture, heritage and arts. I love to make sure that my design work shows my personality and innovative flair as a creator. I like to see the foot as my canvas and the world around me as my inspiration to design beautifully handcrafted pieces upon it.’
