Pauline Cavret is the founder of Atelier Jiro.
Cavret: ‘I founded Jiro in January 2022 because I wanted to create my own shoe designs. I wanted a free business where I would be able to make a new model each time I have a new idea and where I can experiment, test and imagine newness. But foremost, I want to share my passion for shoes with my customers.
My work is an homage to leather, that flourish in all its shapes, colors and textures. To me, it’s a wonderful matter, malleable and surprizing, that the hand work reveals and sublime.
I learn my craft in a bespoke workshop of excellency and I have at heart to keep the same exigency, the quality and the beauty of this savoir-faire in my creations. Each Jiro pair of shoes is hand-made-to-order with traditionnal technics and from rigorously selected leathers and materials that made the reputation of luxury’s métiers d’art.
