Crocheted peeptoe

Olek is known for her large encompassing crocheted works and now she has scaled down to create a series of footwear, including this peep toe shoe, using the same technique executed in her signature colors and camouflage style. ‘All these shoes have something to tell about my ex lovers. There is one I bought on my way to a studio, trying to match the dress an ex had bought for me which was not really my style. Another one I bought for New Year’s Eve but I actually never wore. I got another one after a break up, I found it in a store on the street where we had lived together. And then there are the Nikes – to run as fast as I can from the past’, 2012.
