The Moulded moles is part of the project UNDERDOGMA. This project was shown at the Fuori Salone in Milan april 2004, and is a selection of products in which the designers question 11 dogma‚s in design on 11 products. This results in 9 new products amongst which the Soft Stove of inflammable textiles, Baby Sitter and the moulded moles. The Moulded Moles questions the dogma of the responsibility as designer. Mole-catchers catch up to 500 moles a day and they are thrown away as garbage. As soon as you tan the animals and make shoes out of it does it then goes over the edgy of acceptance?
