First limited edition sneaker by Studio Hagel, 2022.
Created during their ‘MakersMonday’, inspired by a car-themed Nike Cortez silhouette. During MakersMonday, Mathieu gives himself the task of creating a silhouette in a short time. Different materials are used and creativity is given free rein.
The sneaker is entirely made of ECCO leather (colour: RTE MANGO), the sidewalls and dons nubuck overlays that attach to the heels and toe tips. Central to the sneaker’s eye-catching design is a padded leather shroud that stretches from the ankle to the mid-toe section of the shoe.Meanwhile, a banner printed on the mid-foot reads ‘HAGEL’ and unique black cage hugs the sneaker’s front and back ends.
