Laura Dodson is an award winning photographer, teacher and art theorist. She lives and works in New York City and Athens, Greece.
Her images challenge traditional ways of seeing by becoming stages where observation gives way to imagination. She begins with a camera and ends with a fictional narrative. She is motivated by experimentation and transformation, by a vision where color, light, and the layers of time and space collide.
Dodson’s work has been featured in many solo and group exhibitions in the USA and Greece.
