Presented at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, UK during V&A Late, as part of the London Design Festival, 2015.
Footwear transforms the body through direct contact with the objects of our desire, but within art, traditionally, we can only view these objects. Considering stances in classical sculpture, museum attendees were invited to explore the power of posture by stepping into footwear that enabled them to emulate the art surrounding them in the Victoria & Albert Sculpture Gallery. Focusing on the experiential quality of footwear, one explores their own body through interactive play and the stagnant space between objects and admirers.
