Kim: ‘Here I approached the shock-absorption tool in a different way. TPU (3D making material) is used to make flexible and stable heels and functions as the shock-absorption tool. The knotted leather straps on the heel make it look stable. The technique is inspired by Victorian air balloons. The fluffy straps bring a new texture whilst remaining consistent.’
