When designing and making shoes, Joseline is not so much interested in what the final design will be as in the way to get there. She creates shoes out of curiosity. For example, by braiding layers of leather or by removing and adding new material. Every step in the creative process is a choice in what is possible. When creating her shoes and making choices, her only starting point is that the shoe should be wearable.
