Eom: ‘We all have dreams and aspirations that often feel far from the reality we live. This idea has always made me think about transgender people and their journey. The gender they were assigned at birth and the gender they feel they truly are can be very different. I’ve always admired the strength and honesty it takes for someone to face this challenge and make such a deeply personal decision. While this conflict between ideal and reality is a unique and complex issue, I believe it connects in some way to broader themes of identity. This collection seeks to explore and harmonize contrasts, particularly through the lenses of masculinity and femininity, with the hope of offering a more balanced perspective.
