Jing Yu is a London-based footwear designer and artist working under the name JJ World. Yu graduated with an MA in Footwear from LCF in 2026. Her practice explores reconstructed footwear, storytelling, and emotional connections with discarded materials. Rather than beginning with sketches, she starts by collecting broken shoes, workshop waste, leftover leather, and found objects, allowing the materials to guide the design process.
Through JJ World, Jing transforms overlooked materials into expressive footwear with personality, memory, and new life.
