This shoe helped to satisfiy my burning desire to build a u-shaped front with open sides. At the same time I tried to combine classical shoe elements with modern shapes. Shoelaces and eyelets helped twice in this case. They act as an eyecatcher as well as a protection to keep the foot inside the shoe.
