‘Ingenium’ means ‘engineering’ and ‘existere’ means ‘existing’ or ‘existence’. All forms convey their own patterns, and they are all made up of the same shapes, configurations, and logic.
The elements, in which ILJA chooses to engineer her couture, are a mix of nostalgic techniques, poetic silhouettes and the nonchalant attitude of its hometown: Amsterdam. Ingenium Existere’s silhouettes are sculpted in clean-cut panels that are constructed into poetic feminine volumes with an edgy, strong attitude.
