Bauhaus hammock shoe

Hedya Garami

The soft tread of the sandal hangs in the air on a structure like a hammock. Thus when locking and walking, it becomes a personal anatomical guide, 2018.

Materials: cropon leather, stainless steel and wax-coated textile.

The hammock shoe corresponds with the Bauhaus style which called for a move away from extravagance and ornamentation and instead focused on the simple needs of man using rational functional minimalist design in bare raw materials.
