The Snake Woman is an artistic project at the intersection of Art & Design, 2023.
The purpose is to design and present contemporary artefacts through innovative performances giving themselves life to The Snake Woman. Through the creative process of the project, the goal is to transform games of power and misogynist dynamics faced in my designer practice into uncompromising pieces. The artefacts combine high jewelry & fetish codes, creating a new form of Femme Fatale wardrobe questioning female stereotypes and archetypes. Claiming her right to take up space, The Snake Woman responds venomously to anyone who tries to put her in a box.
These shoes were part of an accessories collection that won the Grand Prix of the Jury at the 38th Hyères Festival.
