Sustainable artist Fırat Karapınar aims to raise awareness about sustainability and recycling by converting waste materials into works of art.
He is based in Izmir, Turkey, studied at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts and holds a master’s degree in Art and Design. Karapinar’s works consists mostly of recyclable waste materials such as plastic bottles, Pet bottles, glass bottles, metal parts and cables.
His works were part in exhibitions and events in France, Switzerland and Cyprus ao. To raise awareness on this issue he also organizes workshops on this subject.
