Shoe and fashion show d’Academie beeld

Curious to see what the shoe and fashion design students from d’Academie beeld have achieved this school year? Come and experience the spectacular show at COCON 
in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium and be enchanted by creative, experimental, daring and beautiful creations. On show Saturday June 14 2025
 at 8:00 (shoes) and 9:00 (fashion) PM.

Shoe Design is a popular program, unique in Belgium. The focus is on creativity. The artistic approach sets this course apart from all other shoemaking programs in the country. Insight, design, and craftsmanship are harmoniously combined with wearability, material knowledge and a broad historical and ethnographic background.

The highlight of the academic year is the presentation of your own collection on the catwalk during the shoe show. Each year, you will exhibit at the Shoes Or No Shoes museum in Kruishoutem, the ‘Eperon d’Or’ museum in Izegem, and take part in national and international exhibitions and competitions.
