The work of Brussels based artist Éléonore Joulin takes its source in the art history, gastronomy and architecture — among others — making unexpected links and giving rise to forms between everyday object and sculpture.
She creates pieces between everyday object and sculpture. Almost each of them has an utility, even anecdotal, thus questioning the status of domesticity of art, but the long utilitarian tradition of ceramics.
