Croatian artist Diana Sokolić graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1981. She collaborated in the Masters Workshop of prof. Ljubo Ivančić and prof. Nikola Reiser from 1981 to 1983. Apart from painting and installation, she has been engaged in design, ceramics, photography and pedagogical work for more than twenty-five years. In 2015 at the Amsterdam Light Festival her light installation was selected as one of the final seventy works from all over the world. She has had 25 solo exhibitions and over 300 juried group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.
She has been a member of the Croatian Association of Artists since 1981, InSEA (International Society for Education through Art) since 2009, Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts since 2012 and Croatian Freelance Artists Association since 1986.
