The collection hybirdised traditonal Chinese footwear and handicraft with western style aesthetics. In the way of form and embellishment, using design features drawn from Chinese culture. It also aims to question the problematic term ‘Chinoiserie’ as a cultural resource being mis-referenced in fashion can be reclaimed by design value?
