Stuart Weitzman project collection for CCS. Weiss: ‘Given the design brief of the modern woman for this collection, I centred on the concept of a ‘Modern day Jeanne d’Arc’, setting out to reinterpret the idea of armour, danger, and battle through the lens of the current feminine experience. What can we use as our swords and shields to defend and attack as necessary in everyday life. Prevalent themes of being unapologetically female, strength, personal identity, flames, makeup and medieval aesthetics.’
