My inspiration for this shoe was the Brazilian aboriginal tribe Yanomani, 2012.

They are 15.000 people distributed in 255 villages and they are the few ones that keep the authentic culture. As warriors they use to paint their bodies and for each event there is a specific painting: fighting, hunting, marriage and death. Every indigenous ritual is portrayed in the body in the form of paint being is the most intense artistic expression of the Indians.

Another important characteristic is the architecture, very specific and complex. Used as temporary dwellings, they are traditionally constructed mainly of thatched palm leaves and wood.

Material: leather, hand carved wood and bamboo strips.
