Anna Melegh is a footwear and accessories designer turning everyday objects inside out by using the methods of surrealism. Her shoe journey started in 2012 at the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Budapest. Anna finished her BA in 2020 at the University of Northampton, completed the MA in Footwear and graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2022.
Melegh: ‘I realized, all the art pieces and illustrations I love, are containing some kind of surrealist elements. Unconsciously drawn towards to these subjects and ideas and apply them to my practice. I’m in continuous learning and listening: never know who or what will inspire me next!’
