I’m on a mission to reimagine traditional needlework in a bold, modern way. I want to pay a personal tribute to this craft, with which I’m strongly connected.
Too often, textile art is seen as old fashioned or overlooked as a ‘grandma’s hobby.’ I wish to show that it’s so much more than that- it’s contemporary, cool and, above all, fun. I’m passionate about breaking away from the traditional perceptions, pushing the boundaries of this quiet, often underestimated craft. I want to breathe new life into it, giving it a fresh, exciting edge without losing its true nature.
Inspired by the places I’ve explored, the art I’ve seen, and the everyday objects that spark my creativity, these shoes are anything but modest – they’re a minimalist’s worst nightmare!
