In his time, men wear make-up, wigs and heeled shoes, but today man dressing this way would be judged, often leading to bullying and even worse consequences, such as suicide. Does appearance really matter? Everyone should be free to be themselves, regardless of background, beliefs or looks, because what truly counts is the inner self. Love comes from within!
This shoe pair highlights the contrasts, the opposites, with the left shoe differing from the right (big vs. small, rich vs. poor). The accent color red comes from Louis XIV’s iconic red heels. Red symbolises love, reminding us that love and kindness come from the heart.
