Playful forms, bright colors and structural experiments. Inspiration for this collection of shoes was drawn on from the old handcraft traditions of Finnish culture. Our minds were occupied especially by the beauty of practical, numerous ribbons used in clothing and constructive and delicate straw decorations made in christmas time. We wanted to combine some of the ideas in the constructions and surfaces in our shoes. As a materials we used colored leather and in heels birch wood. Materials were chosen because of the sustainability and natural ability to take shape.
