In 2006 in cooperation with Marc van der Zande of TNO Eindhoven the first totally rapid manufactured shoe prototype (100% laser-sintered) was demonstrated for a complete new shoe concept.
This shoe concept, called ‘Head over Heels’, was the first implementation of using rapid (digital) manufacturing technology on an entire product in the shoe industry.
