[description] => The SICIS’s 'shoe shaped' bathtub, Audrey, is covered with precious glass mosaic in an artistic way.
Audrey show a new level of originality. Their shape - of an elegant pump shoe with a skyscraper heel (165 cm!!) - is perfect to receive a body in a comfortable embrace, as the water trickling from above massages the shoulders of their occupant. Like an oversized version of a... classic Barbie shoe (50’s anniversary)!
Design and colour can be custom on request, the water comes from the heel like a waterfall but there is also a lateral tap. Length of the bathtub is 270 cm, maximum wide 101 cm.
Audrey was first introduced at the 'Salone del Mobile' (International Furniture Fair), in April 2009 in Milan, Italy. There are three models available to see in our showroom in Milan, but soon they will be also abroad.

LOVE STEPS was showed for the first time in the frame of the I.P.G. Project 'Erotic Body' this June at the Biennale di Venezia.'The history of shoes is a story about the ancient search for the female beauty ideal.
It is a story about love, passion and obsession.
Aside from their practical use, shoes have many symbolic meanings, most of them
connected with life, love and sexuality.
Shoes could be a desire, personification of missing love.
Shoes could be a 'girl’s best friend'.
Shoes follow us with every step.
They walk, run, suffer, hurt, get wet, get scratched, get muddy, and get old….
Every pair of shoes has its own history. And their history is a part of our biography.'

She started to decorate Dutch wooden clogs. ‘Our cultural inheritage that was disappering in the fashion scene. I took the challenge getting it back in the picture.’Softwoodenshoes is ontstaan after a discussion with Klompen Frans, a wooden toy supplier. He noticed that the traditional wooden clogs were dissapering from the market. People stopt buying the clogs. The softwoodenshoe has a soft instep, what makes wearing them very comfortable and painless.
The Softwoodenshoes are permanently shown in the 'Klompenmuseum 't Oale Ambacht' in Goor, The Netherlands.

They decided to make a connection between their profession and art by means of collecting the shoes of famous artists. Many of these artists transformed their shoes into an artwork or donated a drawing or a painting involving shoes or feet. The SONS-museum includes a contribution of Arman, Baselitz, Fabre, Kabakov, Kippenberger, Oldenburg, Richter, Wesselman … among many others. The permanent exhibition is located in Kruishoutem - Belgium.
