Tail Shoes

Tamar Navama

These shoes are in a transformation process between an animal and a shoe, 2014.

The tail represents the creature while running away and ironically preventing the wearer from walking. The shoes are wearable but challenging the wearer to walk technically and conceptually. The animal-form is escaping from the formal shape, or the human craft process is taking over the animal form?

Material: wet molding and leather lamination.
